Most audio sources are only 2 channel like youtube, mp3's and videos that don't have 5.1 sound. Does the sound work on all speakers in games? Have you installed the audio drivers? You have the option to set to stereo or 5.1 there.
Response time, input lag, which means that the monitor is more responsive to your movements and display the image in "real time" without delays. Also on fast speed movements everythink is less blury and crisp clean.

That one is the cheapest gaming monitor, the cheaper ones aren't good for gaming cause of input lag and blur with high speed movement. It is worth to go a little over 120 JOD for the gaming monitor.

Well, it all depends on your budget and how much monitors cost where you live.
Ussualy it is best to get 24" inch monitor because they cost almost same as 22".

It can probably be hooked to Blu-Ray players, you wuold need an adapter to hook it to PS4 or Xbox One, anyway where do you want to hook it to? And can you tell me the full name of the speakers system you have?

If you don't have 3.5 jack on front of the Case, then your cheapest solution is to buy 4$ USB soundcard for headphones and microphone with virtual surround 7.1.
