Thank you, as you can tell I know nothing about this! I have a box connected to the antenna and TV that has 4 TV connections, I'm assuming that I can use one of those for the tuner? Any suggestions for the least expensive tuner or converter box?

Hello! I'm trying to connect my Toshiba 55G310U TV with my Toshiba DKR40KU DVD recorder. I have connected them with an HDMI cable. When I try to record I'm not getting any picture or sound. I have my TV connected to an indoor antenna. I don't see any connections on the back of the DVD-R recorder...
