office has a repair mode, have you tried to install sr1 then run repair?

what os do you have ? and have you heard of the maintence wizzard? it will clean, scan for errors, and then defrag. This will help clean up system temp files and make your comp run optimally. Also you can use msconfig to clean up mem ussage by hidded programs running subdude.

what are you trying to install? and can you reformat your drive and reload your os?

you need to remove all old drivers and software , then unplug printer , shut down , plug printer back in, use add printer wizard but pick show all , fin printer modle and use the xp drivers that came on cd. what modle of printer due you have?

i would stay with the manufactors drivers that way they can support it with you
