WIth realtek installed it says speakers under playback and microphone under recording. With it removed, so just the windows version it says headphones under playback and microphone under recording. I've tried to install a driver but it asks me to connect the audio device even though it's plugged...

It is indeed windows 10, and both playback and recording are set as High definition audio device, default device.

I uninstalled the realtek HD manager, now the sounds recognizes my headset as both a playback device and a microphone but I have no audio coming out. Microphone works though.
