Yeah you can lower it below 720p, but the game looks horrible because graphics become very fuzzy

To put it simply, Cores are better than threads. THe i3 has 2 cores and 4 threads, the i5 has 4 cores and 4 threads. i5 has more so it is better. This is a very simple way of saying it, but to this situation it applies.

I'm not sure if you can get them in India, but JBL by Harman makes some gret headphones. I have the J88's and they were about $40 USD which is about 2700 INR.

With that GPU/CPU combo, you should be able to run 90% of games out there at High or Ultra handling at least 40-60 fps. Your classmates are definitely right when they say you could run BF4 and Crysis 3 On high. I am unsure about The Division because I haven't really seen much of that game...
