So it appears Lenovo y520 has an issue with keyboards... all around. I think I ll just stick to lowest setting on my work laptop -.-

My friend had 3 laptops so far (I never had a gaming one, always desktop) and after 3 years it was very overheating and sound crashing, screens turning off. He carried it around a lot and every day he did 20 kms on a bicycle, so perhaps that might have been the issue.

I got to the shop yesteray. I had only 10 mins and I saw only the cheap version of VX15 with 1050, but the display was quite bad. I read somewhere only 1050 Ti version has the IPS pannel, I ll have to check next time. Generally speaking, gaming laptops are much less sturdy than I remember them...

I think I will go see them in person. 1050 and 1050 Ti is a big difference in FPS for not much extra budget. The 1060 however is a way bigger step. I d need to see the display and build quality to decide for sure. Thanks for the answers :)

Budget is a bit of an issue, in a way that I dont want to spend more than needed. If the Acer would be enough for 2 -3 years of gaming and is solid build with a good display, I would probably go for that.

No way at all. The amd GPU, I think, is quite horrendous. But I d wait for other answers :)
