    I hear voices?

RCC radio signals are a probable source of noise, picked up by the poorly shielded speaker circuits. Since you gave such a funny title to the thread, here is a tinfoil experiment. Instead of a hat you can try and shield the laptop with a tin foil covered paper box. Or just go into a basement and...

Solved! Help with a laptop and a monitor

As a rule of thumb HDMI can only support 120Hz, and here is what I found about USC-C: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2984968/144hz-compatible-type.html Also a 1050Ti will deliver 144Hz only in less demanding games, like CS.

    Looking for 1060 laptops

Unless it is a thin variant, or a laptop with a different display panel, yes the main difference will be thermals and performance. https://www.notebookcheck.net/HP-Omen-15-7700HQ-GTX-1060-Max-Q-Full-HD-Laptop-Review.236264.0.html...

Solved! Looking for a solution to battery issue

Three sources can be blamed. 1) the adapter can not deliver stable voltage 2) the battery is on its last legs 3) the charger circuits do not operate as desired The adapter and the battery can be replaced, the circuit board usually not. Try to find a service or a friend with a similar laptop...

Solved! Need help in buying a laptop

1080x1920 pixels and AAA games with high settings require a 1060. Of course, if it is out of your budget, the next best thing you can get is a 1050ti. My friends had reliability problems with Acer products, do not buy any with only one year warranty. The Nitro 5 serie has great price...

    recommendation for my upcoming laptop

Laptops with 120-144Hz are expensive, finding one with an IPS/VA panel is a hard task. Having a dedicated gpu will lower your battery time, unless you can disable it when not gaming. For the gaming performance a mobile 1050ti or better is recommended, you might have to save up more money...

how to convert alphabts to numbers

I guess you have to be more detailed. You can create a look up table and assign a value to each letter of the alphabet. You can do that with a "case" command or open an excel sheet then use the vlookup() function. The second part of your post is not clear. Do you want to sort the letters...
