    sorry i forgot i posted this thread when i fixed the problem it was a bios error i reset my bios to default settings and its all fine now thanks for offering to help

    i had a problem earlyer were my monitor would even turn on, found out it was a lose wire but now it turns on but at the windows logo it shuts off completely and the external monitor no longer gets signal
