app development

I have a dell inspiron 14 3443 with 4GB of RAM, intel i5 CPU and 2GB of nvidia 820M graphics. I mostly use my laptop for web and app development. So, would this laptop do for me or should I be thinking of getting a new high end laptop? If not, for how much time will this laptop do the job for me?

I am looking to get into app development, I tried to run android studio on my old laptop but quickly realized it will not be powerful or fast enough to develop apps. I am looking at buying a refurbished desktop off amazon and I was wondering if these specs look good enough to run android studio...
