I used to be fairly up-to-date with computers. But I'm afraid I'm rather out-of-touch now. And a friend recently came to me for advice on getting a new laptop since his old one quit on him. So I'm asking here for suggestions on brand names for laptops. I know that Dell used to make good laptops...
