    i installed "adb" and commended it "adb devices" but it is not recognizing my phone. What to do?

    my phone was not switching on so I downloaded "adb and fastboot" to brick it but when I command it "adb devices" its not recognizing my device and my phone is switched off so I can't turn on USB debugging too........I don't know what to do please guide me!!!
