whats a good 3d modeling program for beginer (it has to be free) im basicaly desining furniture and other diy stuff

I recently found a really good pair of speakers, but the surround on the speakers has dry rotted. Is there any DIY solutions to the problem, i picked them up for free, so i dont want to take them to a repair shop and spend a lot of money to get a professional fix.
