[Discussion] Slow laptop solutions and mods
We all know cheap Laptops are awful. Unfortunately I'm stuck using a laptop with a dual core 1.3Ghz Processor - Awful hard drive - and 6GBs or ram. I am running Lubuntu. But it's still unbearably slow. So TH. What OSes, solutions and mods do you use for slow laptops?- TadghsMuffins

Can't edit files in Lubuntu 13.10
Im trying to edit /etc/network/interface file and i was told to use gksu gedit /etc/network/interface But it didnt work, so I tried gksu nautilus didnt work, nothing happens.
