Multiple Outputs

I have a Klipsch sound bar connected using the optical cable and a pair of Klipsch Pro-media 2.1 computer speakers connected using the standard 3.5mm audio jack. I want to use them both at the same time (for surround sound) but nothing I've tried so far is working. They work fine independently...
