Revert 8.1 to 7

This Acer Aspire E-17 does not have a CD-DVD drive. Is it possible to purchase a cheap "external" drive and connect it through the USB port(s)? Also, I want to "revert from Windows 8.1 to Window 7". The "help on YouTube" references bios settings that do not appear to exist on this unit like...
