All of sudden , the screen starts weired activities and I need to hard restart of the laptop. It's intermittent. I updated the drivers but in vain. Can someone tell the problem.?

I have a Dell E6530 with integrated Intel HD 4000 video. The current screen is HD 1344x768. I am just wondering if I can replace the screen with a higher resolution such as 900 or 1080? Is the integraged Intel HD 4000 power enough to drive the 1080 screen? Is there a risk to burn the video...
