Zenpad

My mums Asus zenpad 10 has a problem I have no clue what to do. It's basically coming on fine and can see her notification in the background. Says to swipe to unlock. The colour changs when you touch it but it's not recognizing the swipe so she can't access it at all. Also can't restart it...
