£150 for Tannoy Revolution R3's a good buy?

Interesting second hand speakers can be had from quite a few places at quite a range of prices. I've picked up second hand Kef kit speakers complete with race track bass drivers for under ~£90 and my current Tannoy Dual concentrics for ~£80. Both found at Cash Converters. You would be surprised what is out there.

I don't know enough about the revolutions to comment. What did they retail at when new?

Sounds like you've built up a nice little rig. And most importantly you are enjoying it. I think for the price you would struggle to get something better new.

I like the Cambridge kit. I used to have a CD6 which was a little stunner for the money. A friend had an A1mk3SE which I liked a lot. That Azur looks rather tasty.
