Solved! 0% Plugged in, Charging

Hey Guys

I have a pretty strange problem. I recently bought a used origin laptop and the battery has been having issues. Starting off, the battery charged fine, but just the other day my I went to plug it in because it was on low battery and the display showed 0% available (plugged in, charging). The battery is not climbing from 0% even after charging for a few hours. I tried various tricks I read online (like restarting it, and reinstalling some drivers) but to no luck. I ended up buying a new battery, switched it out, and to my dismay it reads the same as the old one, 0% plugged in charging. I have tried doing a hard reset, trying a new charger cord and a few other things. Any help would be amazing.

Your motherboard needs serviced or replaced. It's unlikely a brand new battery has the same issue out of the box. This is most likely a fault with the charging circuitry.
