*#06# Not Working for the S5 SM-900V. Help Please..

Hello, I just bought the Galaxy S5 (Verizon) from a previous owner. When I try dialing the *#06# code, the automated operator tells me to call Verizon. I'm clueless.

I bought the whole Straight Talk activation kit and followed all steps online, but it's not reading my the sim card. I did port my number over from another provider.

Can anyone tell me if I need to pay for services to get that 8 digit code for a sim card reset?

Please help, I'm so stressed out and sleep deprived from all this researching and watching YouTube videos.
