$1000 laptop with SSD and 8gb ram?

Has anyone seen any $1000 laptops with an SSD and 8 gb of ram with a decent display and battery life? I'd like the 8 gb so it's solid for 4ish years of use. I don't really need more than 128 gb on an ssd, but I'd like to have the performance and boot times that SSDs deliver. Also, 13.3" is my preference, but 12.5 and 14 are good too.

edit: I'm not too concerned about the GPU, but low level photoshop work would be a plus.

How long of battery life do you need? depending on that you could go for a regular laptop like the 410p and just install an ssd aftermarket.

I've been looking at the y410p, but the battery life seems subpar to atrocious, depending on who's giving the judgment. I'd prefer a real life 4+ hours.

Yep there are a bunch like that made by gigabyte, acer, and so forth. If you want to game on one the 750m is a very decent gpu and you could get in other similar laptops. I'll try to look around for them as their naming scheme always eludes me.

I can get 4+ on my y410p from a full charge, even with some internet usage, assuming of course im not doing stuff like playing games or streaming a lot of things at once.

It might be more than 1000 with the ssd but my sister has an asus zenbook and she loves it. It doesnt have much for graphics power aside from the integrated stuff, but if they have started putting 4th generation processors in them then that might be all you need
