I have both an Asus Flipbook, and a Microsoft Surface Pro 2. I have a part time job where I have a lot of down time, and wanted to have a computer that's half laptop, half tablet. The Asus works as this, but the 15.6 inch screen is just a little too big. The size is cumbersome, not necessarily the weight.
The Surface 2 is fine as well, but a little old and leaves a bit to be desired in the speed category (only old games, etc).
Rather than switching between the two, i'd rather get one single device that can replace both.
Here's what I'd like.
Laptop, 2-1 convertible. 13 inch touch screen, preferably Full HD (1080p). No DVD drive (no need). i5 or i7 processor, and a dedicated Nvidia GPU. My current is the 840m, hopefully I can get the same or faster.
I feel as if they got rid of the DVD drive, they could easily fit all this inside a 13 inch laptop as opposed to a 15 inch, but virtually every 13 inch one has an Intel HD integrated GPU, not Nvidia. The Asus I have is an i7 with an NV 840m, but as I mentioned, the size is slightly too cumbersome.
