3.1 speaker system into Digital audio

Hi, I have a Samsung DVD player which comes with 3.1 virtual surround. (Left speaker,right speaker and woofer) Each component of the 3.1 plug into the back of the player via clips.

I have just purchased a samsung bluray player and would like to connect the 3.1 as it produces much better sound than the tv speakers!

The problem is the only audio in on the player is a single cable connector...

Is it possible to connect all three components into one cable and connect??

Not that it matters but left right and woofer is a 2.1 system.
Now is there any audio input on the dvd player.
You cannot connect the speakers directly to the bluray as it will be a line level output and not a speaker level.

Yes there is the same audio connector on the dvd player...

You need to see if the dvd audio connection is an input or an output,it may be written next to it or look in the manual.
It is probably an output in which case you would not be able to plug your bluray player into it.
