Here is a link that was reccomended to me to build:http://www.forbes.com/sites/jasonevangelho/2015/02/07/build-a-compact-1080p-gaming-pc-for-400-benchmarks-included/

Could someone please tell me if there are parts that are the same price that are better? Also please tell me if there is a already built PC for $400 that is better than this. Finally, is making a PC a fun experience? Thank You!

Legally only if someone else buy it and then give it to you :)

At microsoft store you can get it for lower price if you are a student.

You can try Unbuntu, Adroid (which are free) or any other OS based on linux, but its not ideal if you want to play PC games (compatibility issues)

@Sandstorm3000 the G3258 will not be able to run modern games that requires 4 cores, so its not a good gaming CPU this days, unless you are pretty sure that you wont be using it for recent games. The price without rebates (the real price OP will be paying upfront is 474 without OS), case is too expensive, and the PSU is more expensive without any quality gain: http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/antec-vp450-power-supply-review/1487 ; http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Corsair-CX430-Power-Supply-Review/1200
