480x800 is WP7 limit?

Hi, just out of curiosity does Windows Phone Mango is limited to resolution of 480x800?
if not why maximum res. of Windows phones is about 480x800 nowadays?

Yes the maximum supported resolution currently is 480x800.
And TBH,It's not a big deal,because unlike Android and iOS,WP7 has big live tiles rather than icons so you won't see much of a difference(I did a comparison with HTC Titan and iPhone 4)
