5.1 surround with Fire stick and optical cable

My TV doesn't have HDMI Arc output. I have connected the TV to home theater (5.1) through optical cable. And fire stick is also connected to TV. But when playing movies from Fire Stick, I don't get 5.1 sound

Check the audio settings of the Firestick.
Check the audio settings of the app.
Check the audio settings of the TV.
Check that the content is in digital surround sound.
