61 dodge radio

I have a 1961 dodge radio. it plays but after about 5 seconds of play I get a high pitch squeal. any ideas?

I probably uses tubes and will be expensive to repair. But there are specialist places.

If you want to maintain the look of the dashboard (assuming it's still in a car) a few years ago I rode with a friend in her 1970's Ford V8 Truck which appeared to have the original radio until she opened it to reveal a modern stereo behind.
