I clicked on your article because of the interesting title, and I have to say—I really enjoyed your descriptions and your movie selection. But then I got to Mufasa: The Lion King, and it became clear that it was only included just to be bashed. Every other movie got genuine praise, yet this one was treated as some ‘obligation mention’ just to drag it through the mud. Calling it ‘unnecessary’ while ignoring its stunning visuals, emotional depth, and Lin-Manuel Miranda’s incredible musical work is just dishonest. The movie didn’t earn its recognition for nothing—I’ve watched and rewatched it, and it absolutely delivers. Either you completely missed what made it great (which is unfortunate),or you just weren’t a fan from the start. Either way, I wish this section had gotten the same fair treatment as the rest. Still, I appreciate the effort you put into the rest of the list—it was a good read overall.
