7700hq VS 8750h, I know 6 is more than 4 but is that a good thing in this case?

I'm thinking of upgrading my current work laptop 4720HQ 16GB of Ram to one of the new Dell G series laptops that feature the new 8750h chip. I work in After Effects, Premiere Pro and C4D which are extremely RAM hungry applications. My question is that with 6 cores (12 virtual) will I effectively be RAM starved with a 16GB maximum versus 16GB with a 4 core system like a 7700hq. Of course if I can upgrade it to 32GB that would negate this question but that does not seem to be an option here. Any insight?

The 8750h is faster. That's all there is to it.

Your answer intrigues me and I can see results on some Cinebench scores that reflect that but what about dealing with 4K imagery in After Effects (RAID storage/SSD speed aside)?
