980m or 860m sli

I'm just wondering what would be a better option for the future.

I have been considering a Aorus X7V2 or Gigabyte P37X

I have been out of the hardware loop for a while now and would appreciate some guidance. If you have any suggestions on other devices, I'd love to hear it too! (my price range is up to $1700)

Hey camichael74,
Go for a 980m, its a single GPU so no problems with games as some games don't run in SLI, performs similar and it is also producing less heat and takes up less battery power compared to 2x 860ms.
Go for 980m, and it is a great laptop so don't worry.

I agree. I go for a single-GPU solution whenever possible.
