So I have researched this stupid topic all day and guess what I find. JUNK! LITERALLY! I find out that so many people have tried this but they never said if it worked or not and I am just so god damn angry!! I have an hp pavillion g4-2235dx and I don't know if its motherboard will accept the apu or not my bios version is f.26 so someone if you have tried this please tell me!!! So i don't have to risk it and just buy the A10-4600M

Solution
Looking into those g4s ... it seems the big difference between them and the g6 (and the g7 for that matter) is simply the monitor size so .... I really don't think you will have any problem at all with that A10 5750m.

Another thing worth knowing ... despite hp saying max ram is 8 gb ... they will use 16 with no problems.

According to game debate the 1600mhz ram makes the 8650G seem just like an overclocked 7660G but with 1866mhz ram you get 933mhz memory clock speed and your memory bandwidth goes up to 29.9GB/sec a pretty significant difference and also the default vram should be 768mb according to the internet.

I'm loving the A10-5750M it is so much better than the A6-4400M I am so happy that I upgraded. Browsing seems much faster and I can finally watch youtube videos at 1080p60. Although gaming is only slightly better due to the gpu and the 1600mhz ram.

What bios version are you using? I am on f.68 and after installing the A10 5750m from an A6 4400m, I only get a black screen when I start my laptop. What is wrong here? Anyone know?

How long did you wait? Also what version was your bios? Looking like f.68 isn't compatible and I'm having trouble telling back to f.50. Going to try f.27 next.
