Which do you guys think would be better for light/moderate gaming?

http://www.notebookcheck.net/Computer-Games-on-Laptop-G...
^Apparently the 7730m is ranked 50+ spots higher than the 7640g+7670m combo. Also the 7730m apparently tends to average better FPS on most games. However I'm not too sure how accurate that is.

because I found these two systems on game-debate:

A8-4500/7640g+7670m CF:
http://www.game-debate.com/gaming-pc/index.php?r_id=111451&cpu=Fusion%20A8-4500M%20Quad%20Core&gpu=Radeon%20HD%207640G%20+%20HD%207670M%20Dual&ram=4GB
i5-3210m/7730m:
http://www.game-debate.com/gaming-pc/index.php?r_id=137826&cpu=Core%20i5-3210M%202.5GHz&gpu=Radeon%20HD%207730M&ram=4GB
^ If you look at the top left under "top 50 games" you can select a game to see what average FPS people are reporting. Apparently most people are averaging better fps with the A-8/7640g+7670m for the newer games like FC3/ Crysis 3/Bioshock/AC3...

I'm not sure which to believe... because people may easily report inaccurate fps but at the same time notebookcheck may have outdated/inaccurate information...

So which do you guys feel would be better?

Solution
i5 + 7730m for sure. better cpu and a better gpu. dual graphics is good for a low budget but if you have a little more, ignore it completely. AMD hybrid crossfire is a stuttery mess with drivers (while they may pull 40 fps to the 7730ms 30 fps the two will feel the same as crossfire has horrible microstutter--jittery mess).

From your linked page

"Radeon HD 7640G + HD 7670M Dual is a combination of a Radeon 7640G (integrated graphics) with a Radeon HD 7670M (dedicated).
This combination is called Asymmetric CrossFire and can also lead to Micro Stuttering.
Unfortunately, benchmarks indicate the performance relies a lot on driver support and is, at times, worse than a single Radeon HD 7670M performing by itself. "

Thanks for the answer. I ordered a dell laptop for 550 with the i5/7730m setup. Just making sure I didn't make the wrong choice.

I'm just a little scared about the fact that this laptop will have "switchable graphics" between the integrated intel hd 4000 and radeon 7730m. I went to dell community forums and apparently there are a ton of problems trying to get the 7730m to work. Games apparently only recognize the intel hd 4000 and play low fps at low settings when the 7730m can play decent fps at medium settings.

My brother has that laptop, just go the amd switchable panel and set the game exe file to use the discrete gpu. Set the laptop to use the integrated graphics for everything else to save battery life.

Someone actually gave me a link on a previous thread I made on this forum and gave me this link:

http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?oc=FNCWM07h&c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&dgc=CJ&cid=47997&lid=4279734

^With coupon: 2Q?XNXR2DXQ13G
you will get $150 off and the total price will be $550 before tax.

Just curious how is the computer working for you? I'm still having trouble deciding between the two.

It's still shipping unfortunately so I wouldn't be able to tell you... They said estimated arrival date was April 1st so I guess it was a cruel April fools prank :(. I just chose the free shipping deal so realistically it could've arrived anytime between april 1 - april 4 (if everything went all well and expected).

However 1 cool thing I learned about this dell laptop is that it apparently has a 1080p screen! That is amazing for that price!!!!
