As long as your mother board has core unlock feature on it can this processor be unlocke the processor number would be either a 250e or 255.This is the mother board model it will be used in.

By unlock, I presume you mean unlock disabled cores. It will only unlock certain processors. Those that were based on more cores. This list will let you determine if your processor has any hidden cores and/or cache:

You will have to look on the heat shield of the processor to read the product code on that particular CPU. At the moment, I'm working on a Phenom II X2 B59 3.4 GHZ that unlocked to a stable quad core. Not all chips listed that are unlockable will unlock and be stable though.
