I have no idea what might be the problem. I have an Asus X550 and it stopped working suddenly this week. As I mentioned, I bought a new battery and when it arrived I plugged it and the laptop ran greatly until the battery got empty but still not charging, so I thought the problem is with the AC adapter but I checked it on another Asus and it also works fine.
What might be the reason for the computer no to charge the battery? And ideas of what should I check?
