Solved! acer A514-52 .fd file name

Hi,
im trying to flash my bios but cant seem to find the name to rename the fd file.

isn´t it an exe file you have to download from acer.com and update within windows?

oh sorry,i forgot to mention that i am trying to flash the bios through a usb to try and see if it get rids of the black screen problem.ive tried hxd editor to get the name as shown on tutorials on youtube but it keeps showing cant find .fd.

The FD files inside the exe are BIOS_WHL.fd and BIOS_CML.fd.

Why can´t you enter windows to update?

In which cases is a black screen appearing?

Maybe warranty is still on this Aspire if you can´t access windows anymore. This one has 2 years.
