Acer aspire 7535 charging

Hello,
i have an acer 7535 and my problem is the connection lead for the charger doesnt stay in the laptop thus it doesnt get charged. any ideas why

Presumably the socket is faulty. You probably need to get a repair guy to solder in a new one (probably not cheap given the amount of disassembly usually needed).

Meanwhile try some velcro on the lead/plug and computer case.

thanks that makes sense ..... comet have just phoned to say they sold me the wrong adaptor with the laptop, apparently i have a hp one instead of an acer...... job done.....
