Acer aspire E5 571 -Not powering on

Hi there i have a major laptop issue.

My Acer Aspire E5 571 Laptop isn't powering on.

The LED's turn on when power is connected either by cable or battery: The Hard drive fine.

Made a rookie mistake not backing up my teacher training uni work for due for Friday. Any help would be great.

Does the screen light up (sort of turns blue-grey) when you try to turn it on? Can you hear fans spin?

If you plug a wired USB optical mouse into it, does the red LED light up?
