Acer aspire one won't boot

My sons computer is a notebook acer aspire one, it will not boot, it just goes to the start windows normally or launch system repair screen, neither option works.
I did get into the edit boot options screen and it says:
Edit windows boot options for : windows 7
Path: \windows\system32\winload.exe

Hard Disk: 6ed1e10b

[ /NOEXECUTE=OPTIN

What do I do from here, there is no drive to put a cd in and I just want to reset it to factory if possible.

Firstly its a NETBOOK ..not a proper laptop...

With no cd drive you reload the OS with a USB stick usually...
