Acer back light

hey im new on here but been looking for a while.
i have a acer laptop im repairing for a friend and the back light was flickering so i thought id replace the inverter and cable as the connecter on the cable broke when i was pulling it out.
after replacing both of them i turn it back on to find the back light wasnt working at all i connected the screen to another laptop and it defferntly works and tried the old inveter and still nothing.
if there any test i can do to see if the inverteris getting power.

Checked the inverter and still nothing. Someone please help.

The inverter works. Back light bulb works but no light on screen.
