what powerplan should i use and what do i choose also laptop keep closing down when i have at least 50% charg

replace battery or run with only power cable

First try run with only power cable, if for few weeks it work normally then battery is at fault or its circuitry in the motherboard

Well just because it 'says' you have 50% charge, doesn't mean you do. As fagetti said, it could be you need to replace the battery. When batteries start to go bad they can give false charge percentages.
