Solved! Acer erecovery

I have had my acer lap top for a few years now Aspire 5000. I booted it up the other day and there was a box at the bottom of the screen that said erecovery? Why would this pop up out of no where? Is someone else messing with my computer? Thanks for any help!!

its the buil in acer recovery software. not someone messing with your acer and no one can access your laptop unless they're connected with you in the same house

Factory Restore:

ALT+F10
tap both while booting computer
press enter at the "edit boot options" screen
select "restore to factory defaults"

hi foxy we already tried that site but it didn`t work. 🙁 i am hoping someone can lend me a recovery cd for my Acer Aspire 5000. thanks for the reply, i appreciate it..
