I have an Acer E570G and it is maybe 1 & half years old, Today when I tried to start my laptop, it wasn't starting. The 1st led keeps glowing when I press the power button, but the 3rd led goes off after 2-3 seconds & there's no activity on the screen. Charging works proper. I tried removing the battery, holding power button for 45 secs but to no avail.. please help

Solution
Try it this way

1. Take out the charger and battery.
2. Flip the laptop over and take off the bottom panel, if it has one. If not, skip that step. If it does, take out the round battery.
3. Continually tap the power button for about a minute.
4. Replace power cable, not battery and attempt to boot.

These steps will remove any power and settings from the motherboard, completely resetting it.

Some machines require batteries to boot, so it may be worth it to buy a cheap replacement off amazon, just to try it.

If what I recommended doesn't work, you'll will need to bring it to a repair shop. It will need to be gutted and have parts replaced. At that point, if you paid less than $500 for it, you might want to look for a new one...
