Question Acer laptop is not booting from the HDD, DVD, or recovery USB.

Need Some Tech Savvy Advice

I'm reaching out to this amazing group because I'm facing a tricky computer issue, and I know there are some real tech wizards here who might be able to help me out.

The Problem: My computer is acting up lately, and I'm unable to boot it properly.

When I try to boot from a bootable USB or CD, it gets stuck at the "Preparing Automatic Repair" screen for hours without progressing further. I've also tried accessing Safe Mode without any luck.

What I've Tried So Far:
Created a bootable Windows 10 USB using the Rufus utility in the MBR-BIOS format. The computer only reads bootable USBs in that format; if I use UEFI, it does not detect them. I also created another with the Media Creation Tool with the same results.

Attempted to boot from the USB drive and Windows installation CD.

Reset BIOS/UEFI settings to default values.

Ensured USB and DVD drives are functioning correctly.

Additional Details: When booting from the USB with the Legacy option on, the Windows logo and the circling dots appear for a moment, and then it goes to a black screen with a cursor on the top left. The computer also does that when normally booting, taking long until you see any signs of the OS running.

I'd really appreciate any advice or insights you might have regarding this problem.
