My laptop is about 3 years old at most, I maintain it regularly to my ability...but recently it's been having this crashes that are totally random. At times it happens the moment startup is done and others while I'm mid work. I run an Acer Aspire 4750, Intel Core i7-2630QM CPU at 2GHz, 8Gb Ram, 64-bit OS.
I've noticed, that the longer I keep my com not touched (no movement on com), it has a higher chance of crashing. It restarts as if one would click and hold the power button but instantly starts up again. It's not an overheating problem, I've cleaned the vents and had it checked out. It shouldn't be a virus...I intend of reformatting my com soon, but since I have a lot of work this next coming week, I can't as of yet. any suggestions on possible problems..I constantly have to do work with the worry of it crashing mid-way. Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance

Hi,

Try to perform a System Restore with the laptop to a date and time before it started acting up on you. Also uninstall and reinstall the graphics card driver cause it's more likely some driver problem with it as well. Go to Device Manager then expand Display Adapter and uninstall the Intel Graphics driver then download and install the latest driver from the manufacturers site.
