My acer 4750g keyboard and mousepad are locked. I was just changing a document name in window explorer and suddenly I can't access both mousepad and keyboard anymore. I tried pressing Fn+F7 but my mousepad is still not working, neither my keyboard is. One more thing, the funny thing is when I reboot, my mousepad is perfectly fine, then when I type one letter into the com, both pad and keyboard can't work again.

Solution
Hi,

Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help in solving the issue.
- Start by trying an external keyboard and mouse and see if it would work.
- If an external keyboard and mouse will work, uninstall/reinstall the Touchpad and keyboard driver.
- Next is to try and load the laptop into Safe Mode and see if the built in mouse and keyboard will work.
- If all these will not work the only solution would be do a factory reset.
