hi, can you help me.

according to the acer technician they need to replace mother board of my acer one z1402-376h because my wireless card is defective and its built in the the mother board...,is it true?

Quite possible and they're unlikely to lie about it. The thinner the cases become, the more add-ons are part of the motherboard circuitry rather than plug in cased that used to be used.

It sounds expensive compared to the low cost of a USB wi-fi dongle that will protrude half an inch from the side of the your laptop.
