I downloaded a free version of acrobat on my Acer laptop, but it just installed a load of junk on it instead. When I tried to restore computer it got stuck on the window which says something like Windows cannot be started or something.

This worked for me (so far anyway)
If this doesn't work try next step:
SHIFT-F10 to bring up command prompt.
type: CD C:\windows\system32\oobe
type msoobe
enter
Make a generic account and password. hit finish (if it requests a product key and you have one, enter it now. if OEM/No key required, just finish). Set time/date. Finish.
Restart.
Should be good to go.
It worked and I thought I had fixed it but now it is stuck on " set up will continue after restarting your computer??? I have force shut it down but then I had to restart the process with the same result!! Help?
