Solved! Ad Remover app vs. Adblock Plus app

I just downloaded Ad remover and Adblock Plus earlier in the day on my PC. Aren't they essentially the same? I don't think I need both and one is free and one is only a free trial. Any thoughts on which one to keep?

I was fine with the free ABP - - certainly I would not pay for one. However, since I started using Microsoft Edge I haven't felt the need to use a third-party ad blocker, built-in pop-up blocker does the job very well.

I personally wouldnt recommend Adblock plus, they tend to let some ads through.
Ublock Origin + Ghostery is a very good (and free, never pay for an adblock) combo.

+1 for Ublock Origin and Ghostery, use this combo as well and works very well (im on Firefox).

ublock origin i s better than either of those and i cant rememebr last time i ever had a popup or ad slip through it. (also i like its UI better)

Privacy badger is also a good add-on for browsing as well.
