Adding a Group Logo or Association to My LinkedIn Profile

If you are a member of any group on LinkedIn, you can display the official logo of that group on your LinkedIn profile. You may want to do so in order to let the profile visitors and your connections know about your associations and the groups that you are a part of.

Although it is simple to add a group logo to your LinkedIn profile, before doing so, it is important that you ensure that the owner of the group permits the public visibility of the logo. Many times the administrators/owners of the groups do not have any objection. However there might be times when some of the owners might not want their logos to be displayed to the public.

Once you are sure that the owner of the group has no objection in making the group logo visible to the public, here is how you can configure your LinkedIn profile to display the group logo:

■Log on to your computer system.
■Open your favorite web browser. (E.g. Google chrome in this demonstration).
■Open LinkedIn by typing www.linkedin.com in the address bar, and pressing Enter.
■If you are not already logged in, provide your login credentials in the appropriate fields, and click the Sign In button.

Note: By default, the group logos are set to be displayed on your profile if you are member of the groups. The above steps are required if the configuration is otherwise, and/or the logo visibility has been disabled earlier.
