Adobe audition recover temp file

I recorded a file last night in adobe audition on my flash drive last night and it did not save properly. Unfortunately it saved the file name at 0 KB and I cannot recover the original file. After it saved, I Xed out of the program, but it did not ask me if I wanted to save the file. Is their any way I can recover the file on my computer?

No. Audition doesn't save a recovery file upon proper exit. Flash drives can be low quality and unreliable. Always keep a backup somewhere else.
